Crispy, spicy, and oozing with cheesy goodness, these Hot Cheeto Mozzarella Sticks are perfect for parties, potlucks, or anytime cravings hit. Air-fried to crunchy perfection and served with a cool dipping sauce, they’re as addictive as they sound.
- 1 bag 8.5 oz Flamin' Hot Cheetos, crushed (approx. 3 cups)
- 12 mozzarella string cheese sticks cut in half
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 large eggs room temperature, whisked
- Parsley chopped, for garnish
- Ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping
- Cooking spray
Crush the Cheetos: Blend Flamin’ Hot Cheetos in a food processor until they become fine, red crumbs. Set aside.
Prep the Coating Station: Set up three bowls: one with flour, salt, and garlic powder; one with whisked eggs; and one with crushed Cheetos.
Coat the Cheese Sticks: Dip each mozzarella stick half in flour, then egg, then Cheetos. For extra crunch, repeat egg and Cheeto coating.
Freeze Before Cooking: Place coated sticks on parchment paper and freeze for at least 30 minutes to prevent melting during cooking.
Air Fry to Perfection: Preheat air fryer to 390°F (200°C). Spray sticks with cooking spray and air fry for 4–6 minutes until crispy and golden.
Garnish and Serve: Top with chopped parsley and serve hot with ranch or blue cheese dressing.
