Honey Teriyaki Air Fryer Salmon

This Honey Teriyaki Air Fryer Salmon is a quick, healthy meal that combines sweet honey and savory teriyaki, cooked to perfection in the air fryer with minimal cleanup.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets about 6 oz each, skin-on or skinless
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger or ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  • Whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, grated ginger, and minced garlic in a small bowl until the honey dissolves and the ingredients combine.
  • Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or resealable bag, then pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are fully coated. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  • Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it in the air fryer, skin-side down. Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily and reaches 145°F (63°C).
  • If desired, simmer the leftover marinade in a saucepan for 2-3 minutes until it thickens to make a sauce.
  • Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions over the salmon. Serve with steamed rice, quinoa, or roasted vegetables.
