Homemade Energy Chocolate Nut Bars

These Homemade Energy Chocolate Nut Bars are packed with healthy nuts, seeds, and just the right touch of sweetness.

Ingredients
  

  • 450 g raw almonds
  • 50 g pumpkin seeds
  • 50 g sunflower seeds
  • 50 g dried cranberries
  • 20 g unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 120 g honey
  • 80 g maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • Melted dark chocolate for dipping
  • Fleur de sel for sprinkling

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix the raw almonds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, dried cranberries, and unsweetened coconut flakes using a hand mixer.
  • For the syrup, combine honey, maple syrup, and sea salt in a small saucepan and heat until well-mixed.
  • Pour the syrup over the nut mixture and stir until fully combined. Firmly press the mixture into a lined baking tray.
  • Place the tray in the freezer for at least 2 hours to set.
  • Once set, cut the mixture into bars. Dip each bar in melted dark chocolate and sprinkle with fleur de sel.
  • Put the bars back in the freezer for 15 minutes to allow the chocolate to harden then enjoy!
