Homemade Apple Fritters are golden cinnamon pastries filled with fresh apples and finished with a sweet vanilla glaze.

- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 apples, diced
- Oil for frying
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
Heat several inches of oil to 350°F (175°C).
Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
Beat eggs, milk, and vanilla in another bowl.
Stir the wet mixture into the dry ingredients.
Fold in the diced apples.
Carefully drop portions of batter into the hot oil and fry for 2–3 minutes per side.
Drain the fritters on paper towels.
Stir powdered sugar with milk and drizzle or brush the glaze over the warm fritters.
