This Hearty Cabbage & Ground Beef Casserole is a cozy, budget-friendly dish that combines tender cabbage, seasoned beef, and a rich tomato sauce. Layered with rice and baked to perfection, it’s a fuss-free comfort meal that’s perfect for busy weeknights.
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 small head of cabbage
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Preheat & Prep: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Cook Beef & Onion: In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until browned. Drain excess grease.
Make the Sauce: Stir in garlic, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
