Gordon Ramsay Steak Marinade

Gordon Ramsay-inspired steak marinade blends balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, and rosemary to create a tender, flavorful steak that’s perfect for any occasion. It’s easy to make and adds depth to your favorite cut of meat.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz steak
  • cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 sprigs rosemary
  • cup dark brown sugar
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • tsp red pepper

Instructions

  • Mince the garlic and rosemary. In a medium bowl, mix balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, dark brown sugar, and olive oil until the sugar dissolves.
  • Stir in the minced garlic, rosemary, kosher salt, black pepper, and red pepper. Mix well to combine.
  • Pour the marinade into a zip-lock bag or shallow bowl. Add the steak, ensuring it's fully coated. Seal the bag or cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours (overnight is ideal).
  • Remove the steak from the fridge and pat it dry. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for 4-5 minutes per side, or until your desired doneness is achieved.
  • Let the steak rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
