Gordon Ramsay Steak Marinade
Gordon Ramsay-inspired steak marinade blends balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, and rosemary to create a tender, flavorful steak that’s perfect for any occasion. It’s easy to make and adds depth to your favorite cut of meat.
- 12 oz steak
- ⅓ cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 sprigs rosemary
- ⅔ cup dark brown sugar
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp ground black pepper
- ⅓ tsp red pepper
Mince the garlic and rosemary. In a medium bowl, mix balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, dark brown sugar, and olive oil until the sugar dissolves.
Stir in the minced garlic, rosemary, kosher salt, black pepper, and red pepper. Mix well to combine.
Pour the marinade into a zip-lock bag or shallow bowl. Add the steak, ensuring it's fully coated. Seal the bag or cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours (overnight is ideal).
Remove the steak from the fridge and pat it dry. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for 4-5 minutes per side, or until your desired doneness is achieved.
Let the steak rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
