- 10 mozzarella sticks string cheese, cut in half for 20 pieces
- 10 slices deli ham thinly sliced, regular or smoked
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tbsp milk
- 2 cups breadcrumbs Italian seasoned or plain with seasoning added
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese optional
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika

- Optional dips: marinara sauce ranch, honey mustard, spicy aioli, or garlic mayo
Unwrap mozzarella sticks, cut in half, and wrap each piece tightly with ham.
Prepare three bowls: one with flour, salt, and pepper; one with whisked eggs and milk; and one with breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Coat each ham-wrapped stick in flour, dip in egg wash, then roll in breadcrumbs, pressing gently. For extra crunch, repeat egg and breadcrumb coating.
Place on a tray and freeze for 30–45 minutes.
Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry in batches for 1–2 minutes until golden, turning as needed. Drain on paper towels.
Serve hot with your favorite dip.
