Golden Cheese Balls
Crispy outside, melty inside—these golden cheese balls are oven-baked or air-fried with mozzarella, Parmesan, and seasoned breadcrumbs for the perfect snack or appetizer.
- 8 oz mozzarella cheese
- 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- ¼ tsp salt
Mix breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, and salt in a shallow bowl. In another bowl, beat the eggs until smooth.
Dip each mozzarella cube in egg, then coat in breadcrumbs. Repeat—egg, then breadcrumbs again—for a double layer.
Place on a parchment-lined tray and freeze for 30 minutes to firm up and prevent cheese from leaking.
Bake (Oven method): Preheat to 400°F (200°C). Bake cheese balls on a lined tray for 8–10 minutes until golden and crisp.
Air fry (Air fryer method): Preheat to 375°F (190°C). Cook for 5–6 minutes, spaced apart, until crispy outside and melty inside.
