Glow-In-The-Dark Candy Popcorn Bombs
Bright, colorful, and glowing under black light, these glow-in-the-dark candy popcorn bombs are the ultimate party treat! Made with white chocolate, neon food coloring, and a touch of tonic water, they’re sweet, crunchy, and irresistibly fun.
- 8 cups popped popcorn
- ½ cup white chocolate chips
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- ¼ tonic water
- Neon food coloring
- Edible glitter or luster dust
Pop the popcorn: Prepare microwave popcorn as directed, or pop kernels on the stovetop with a little oil. Transfer to a large bowl, removing any unpopped kernels.
Melt the chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate chips and coconut oil in 20-second bursts, stirring between each, until smooth.
Add the glow effect: Stir in tonic water to create the black light glow. The mixture may thin slightly.
Color the chocolate: Divide the melted chocolate into separate bowls and mix in neon food coloring until vibrant.
Coat the popcorn: Drizzle the colored chocolate over the popcorn, tossing gently to coat before it hardens.
Shape the popcorn bombs: Lightly grease your hands, scoop handfuls of coated popcorn, and press them into balls. Place on a lined baking sheet.
Add the finishing touches: Dust with edible glitter or luster dust for extra sparkle. Let them set at room temperature for 30 minutes or refrigerate for 10 minutes.
