German Chocolate Poke Cake is a rich, moist chocolate cake soaked in sweetened condensed milk and caramel, then topped with chocolate chips, coconut, pecans, and drizzled with chocolate and caramel frosting. Perfect for any occasion!
- 1 box German chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- ½ cup chocolate chips
- ½ cup shredded coconut
- ½ cup chopped pecans
- ½ cup chocolate frosting
- ½ cup caramel frosting
Heat to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Prepare the German chocolate cake mix as directed. Pour into the dish and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool for 10 minutes, then use a wooden spoon handle to poke deep holes evenly across the surface.
Pour sweetened condensed milk over the cake, followed by caramel sauce. Let it soak for 5–10 minutes.
