Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta
This Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta is super easy to make and doesn’t require any cream!
- 350 g shrimp peeled and deveined
- 2 cloves of garlic minced
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 red bell pepper diced
- 100 g cherry tomatoes halved
- 15 g butter
- 250 g fettuccine cooked
- 2 ladles Pasta water
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Smoked paprika to taste
- Chili flakes to taste
- Grated Gouda optional, for topping
Heat olive oil in a large pan. Add the shrimp, smoked paprika, salt, and minced garlic. Cook until the shrimp turns pink.
Add the diced red bell pepper and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add halved cherry tomatoes and cook until they soften.
Stir in the chopped parsley, butter, and lemon juice. Let the butter melt and mix well.
Add the cooked fettuccine and pasta water to the pan. Stir everything together to combine.
Garnish with more chopped parsley and serve with grated Gouda if desired. Serve and enjoy!
