Frostbite Blue Christmas Cocoa

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups whole milk or preferred milk alternative
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp blue food coloring or natural blue spirulina powder
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Blue sprinkles or edible glitter optional, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: In a medium saucepan, heat the milk and heavy cream over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  • Step 2: Add sugar and cocoa powder, whisking until smooth and fully dissolved.
  • Step 3: Stir in vanilla extract and blue food coloring until the cocoa turns a vibrant blue.
  • Step 4: Bring to a simmer, then remove from heat.
  • Step 5:  Pour the cocoa into mugs and top with whipped cream.
  • Step 6: Garnish with blue sprinkles or edible glitter for that extra festive flair.
  • Step 7: Serve immediately and enjoy your winter wonderland in a cup!
