Forgotten Chicken & Rice
Forgotten Chicken & Rice is a family favorite that’s as easy as it is delicious.
- 4 chicken breasts boneless, skinless
- 1 cup long-grain rice uncooked
- 1 can cream of chicken soup 10.5 oz
- 1 packet dry onion soup mix
- 1½ cups water
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a large baking dish.
Spread uncooked rice evenly across the bottom of the dish.
Lay chicken breasts on top of the rice in a single layer.
Mix cream of chicken soup and water in a bowl until smooth. Pour over chicken and rice.
Sprinkle onion soup mix over the dish. Cover tightly with foil.
Bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Let rest for a few minutes before serving hot.
