Easy Peach Cobbler
This Easy Peach Cobbler uses just a handful of ingredients to create a golden, bubbly dessert full of flavor. Made with canned peaches and a simple batter, it's a comforting classic perfect for any occasion.
For the Cobbler Base:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 15 oz can sliced peaches (with juice)
- ½ cup 1 stick butter, melted (optional but recommended)
For the Topping:
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon sugar for sprinkling
Set the oven to 300°F (150°C). Lightly grease an 8×8 or 9×9 baking dish. Pour in melted butter, if using.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and milk until smooth and pourable.
Pour the batter into the dish over the butter—do not stir. Spoon the canned peaches with their juice evenly over the batter.
Bake for 35 minutes. Halfway through, sprinkle the cinnamon and sugar on top. Bake until golden and bubbling.
Let cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
