Dump And Bake Cheesy Meatball Casserole

This recipe brings together tender meatballs, perfectly cooked pasta, and gooey cheese—all baked in one dish.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb frozen meatballs
  • 12 oz uncooked pasta penne or ziti
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Fresh basil chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large baking dish, combine frozen meatballs, uncooked pasta, marinara sauce, water, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
  • Stir well to coat the pasta and distribute the seasonings.
  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 35-40 minutes until the pasta is tender and the meatballs are heated through.
  • Remove the foil, sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the top.
  • Bake uncovered for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let the casserole cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh basil before serving.
