Donut Grilled Cheese With Bacon Maple
Crispy bacon and melted cheddar inside a glazed donut, grilled and topped with maple syrup — a sweet and savory breakfast twist.
- 1 glazed donut sliced horizontally
- 2 slices cheddar or American cheese
- 2 slices bacon cooked until crisp
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat for 6–8 minutes, flipping until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
Cut the donut in half horizontally using a serrated knife. Handle gently—glaze makes it slippery.
Layer cheese, bacon, and another slice of cheese on the bottom half. Top with the other half of the donut.
Cook the sandwich in a skillet over medium heat, 2–3 minutes per side, until golden and melty.
Drizzle maple syrup on top and serve warm.
