Donut Grilled Cheese With Bacon Maple

Crispy bacon and melted cheddar inside a glazed donut, grilled and topped with maple syrup — a sweet and savory breakfast twist.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 glazed donut sliced horizontally
  • 2 slices cheddar or American cheese
  • 2 slices bacon cooked until crisp
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

Instructions
 

  • Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat for 6–8 minutes, flipping until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  • Cut the donut in half horizontally using a serrated knife. Handle gently—glaze makes it slippery.
  • Layer cheese, bacon, and another slice of cheese on the bottom half. Top with the other half of the donut.
  • Cook the sandwich in a skillet over medium heat, 2–3 minutes per side, until golden and melty.
  • Drizzle maple syrup on top and serve warm.
