Dill Pickle Bacon Grilled Cheese is a savory, crispy sandwich layered with Swiss and cheddar, crunchy dill pickles, and crispy bacon, pan-grilled to golden perfection. A bold twist on the classic grilled cheese that’s perfect for casual get-togethers or solo comfort cravings.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 2 slices hearty sandwich bread sourdough or country white works best
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter softened
  • 4 slices dill pickles drained
  • 2 slices Swiss cheese
  • 2 slices sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

  • Cook the bacon until crispy, then drain and cut in half.
  • Butter the bread slices on one side.
  • Assemble the sandwich: layer Swiss cheese, pickles, bacon, and cheddar between two slices of bread, with the buttered sides facing out.
  • Grill over medium-low heat for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and the cheese is melted.
  • Let rest briefly, then slice and serve warm.
