Deep Fried S’mores Bites
Mini deep-fried s’mores—gooey marshmallows and chocolate wrapped in graham crackers, battered, fried golden, and dusted with sweetness. Perfect sweet snack.
- 8 large marshmallows
- 8 small chocolate squares or ~1 tbsp chocolate chips each
- 8 graham cracker squares or crushed to coat bites
- 1 cup pancake mix
- ½ cup water adjust for thick batter
- Oil vegetable or canola for frying
- Optional: powdered sugar chocolate or caramel sauce for drizzling
Sandwich a marshmallow and chocolate between graham crackers, or roll them in crushed crackers to form balls.
Whisk pancake mix and water until smooth and thick enough to coat.
Heat 2 inches of oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
Dip each bite in batter and fry for 1 minute per side until golden. Work in batches.
Drain on paper towels. Dust with powdered sugar and drizzle with sauce if you like. Serve hot.
