Deep Fried Marshmallows Recipe

A fun, quick, and indulgent snack, these deep fried marshmallows are coated in light pancake batter, fried until golden, and topped with whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and sprinkles. Perfect for parties, kids’ snacks, or a playful weekend treat.

Ingredients
  

For the Marshmallows

  • Jumbo marshmallows
  • Pancake mix
  • 1 large egg
  • Milk

For Frying & Garnish

  • Vegetable oil for frying and in batter
  • Whipped cream optional
  • Chocolate syrup
  • Sprinkles

Instructions
 

  • Pour 3 inches of vegetable oil into a deep pot. Heat to 350°F (177°C).
  • Whisk pancake mix, egg, milk, and a drizzle of oil in a bowl until smooth and slightly thick.
  • Dip each jumbo marshmallow in batter, letting excess drip off.
  • Fry in hot oil for 30–60 seconds, turning until golden.
  • Drain on paper towels. Top with whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and sprinkles. Serve warm.
