Decadent Chocolate Croissant Breakfast Bake is a rich, custardy dish layered with day-old croissants and chocolate chips, baked golden and served warm for a luxurious morning treat.

Ingredients
  

  • 5 large croissants cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Optional for topping

  • Powdered sugar for dusting
  • Fresh berries or whipped cream for serving

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Cut croissants into 1-inch pieces and layer in the dish; sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  • Whisk milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
  • Pour custard over croissants, pressing gently to soak evenly.
  • Bake 45–50 minutes until set and golden; tent with foil if browning too fast.
  • Cool slightly, dust with powdered sugar, and serve warm.
