Decadent Chocolate Croissant Breakfast Bake is a rich, custardy dish layered with day-old croissants and chocolate chips, baked golden and served warm for a luxurious morning treat.
- 5 large croissants cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 cups whole milk
- 4 large eggs
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Optional for topping
- Powdered sugar for dusting
- Fresh berries or whipped cream for serving
Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Cut croissants into 1-inch pieces and layer in the dish; sprinkle with chocolate chips.
Whisk milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
Pour custard over croissants, pressing gently to soak evenly.
Bake 45–50 minutes until set and golden; tent with foil if browning too fast.
Cool slightly, dust with powdered sugar, and serve warm.
