Dark Chocolate Strawberry Jam

Dark Chocolate Strawberry Jam is a decadent, homemade spread that combines sweet strawberries with rich cocoa powder and dark chocolate balsamic vinegar. Perfect for toast, desserts, or just spooning straight from the jar!

Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups chopped strawberries
  • cup cocoa powder
  • cup dark chocolate balsamic vinegar
  • 1 package Sure-Jell pectin
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 7 cups sugar

Instructions
 

  • In a large stockpot, combine chopped strawberries, dark chocolate balsamic vinegar, Sure-Jell pectin, and butter. Heat over high, stirring often to mix.
  • Once bubbling, stir in sugar and cocoa powder, ensuring the cocoa dissolves completely. Keep the heat in check to prevent burning.
  • Increase heat to high and bring to a rolling boil. Stir constantly for 1 minute, watching for thickening and deepening color.
  • Remove from heat. Ladle hot jam into prepared canning jars, leaving 1/2-inch headspace. Clean the jar rims and secure the lids tightly.
  • Place jars in a boiling water bath or steam canner for 10 minutes. Ensure the water fully covers the jars.
  • Remove jars and place them on a kitchen towel to cool for 24 hours. The jars are sealed once the lid button stays down when pressed.
