Crunchy Cheese Bacon Doritos Chicken
Juicy chicken breasts are stuffed with a creamy, cheesy filling, then topped with crunchy Doritos and crispy bacon. It’s a fun, family-friendly dinner that’s quick to prepare yet feels like a treat.
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup chopped green onions
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- 6 slices cooked bacon crumbled
- 2 cups crushed nacho cheese Doritos
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Mix softened cream cheese, cheddar, green onions, garlic powder, and paprika until smooth.
Pat chicken dry and cut a pocket into each breast without slicing through. Spoon the cream cheese mixture inside and press gently to seal.
Brush chicken with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, then press crushed Doritos onto the top for a crunchy coating.
Sprinkle crumbled bacon over the chicken and bake for 25–30 minutes until the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) and the crust is golden and crisp.
Let rest for 5 minutes before serving and garnish with extra green onions if desired.
