Ingredients

  • 2 pounds sirloin or stew beef cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Fresh parsley chopped (optional, for garnish)

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high, add olive oil, and sear steak cubes in batches until browned. Don’t overcrowd—browning adds rich flavor.
  • Transfer seared beef to the crockpot and spread into an even layer.
  • Whisk soy sauce, Worcestershire, garlic, onion powder, and black pepper in a bowl until smooth.
  • Pour sauce over the beef, then place butter on top.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours, until tender.
  • Stir gently, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve hot.
