Crockpot Chicken and Stuffing Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts -
  • 1 10.5 oz can cream of chicken soup -
  • 1 10.5 oz can cream of mushroom soup -
  • 1 cup chicken broth - 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 6 oz box stuffing mix
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp dried thyme optional
  • 1 tsp dried parsley optional

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of your crockpot and season with salt, pepper, and optional thyme and parsley.
  • Step 2: In a bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, sour cream, and milk until smooth. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
  • Step 3: Evenly sprinkle the stuffing mix over the soup layer, then drizzle melted butter on top to add flavor.
  • Step 4: Cover and cook on **low** for 6-7 hours or on **high** for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and thoroughly cooked.
  • Step 5: Before serving, shred the chicken into the mixture for a creamy, blended texture.
