Crispy Air Fryer Parmesan Zucchini Fries

Crispy air fryer zucchini fries with a golden Parmesan crust—healthier than regular fries and ready in under 15 minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium zucchinis
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer: Set it to 400°F (200°C) to ensure crispy, even cooking.
  • Slice the zucchini: Cut into 3–4-inch sticks, about ½ inch thick. Keep sizes uniform.
  • Mix the coating: In a shallow dish, stir together Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Beat the egg: In another dish, beat 1 egg until smooth.
  • Coat the zucchini: Dip each stick in the egg, let the excess drip off, then press into the breadcrumb mixture to fully coat.
  • Arrange in the basket: Place in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Don’t overcrowd—work in batches if needed.
  • Air fry until crispy: Cook for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through. Add 2 extra minutes for thicker sticks.
