Garlic Shrimp Pasta Butter is a flavorful pasta dish made with tender shrimp, garlic, butter, and Italian herbs. The spaghetti is tossed in a light, silky sauce of butter, olive oil, and pasta water, creating a simple yet satisfying meal perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb medium shrimp cleaned and tails removed
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves minced very fine
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt for seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley or basil chopped
  • 1 tablespoon salt for pasta water

Instructions
 

  • Boil salted water, cook spaghetti 9–10 minutes, reserve 1 cup pasta water, drain.
  • Rinse shrimp and pat completely dry.
  • Melt butter in a skillet, cook shrimp 2–3 minutes until edges turn pink.
  • Add garlic and cook 3–5 minutes until shrimp are fully pink.
  • Add pasta, olive oil, butter, seasonings, and a little pasta water; toss.
  • Toss 1–2 minutes until glossy, add herbs, serve hot.
