Cottage Cheese Chocolate Mousse is a smooth, creamy dessert made by blending cottage cheese with cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla, and a pinch of salt. After a short chill in the fridge, it transforms into a rich chocolate mousse packed with protein and simple ingredients.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup full fat cottage cheese
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Add cottage cheese to a blender and blend about 15 seconds to smooth the curds.
  • Add cocoa powder, maple syrup or honey, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  • Blend 30 to 45 seconds until smooth and creamy, scraping the sides if needed.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more maple syrup or honey if desired.
  • Transfer to bowls or jars and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
  • Serve chilled with berries, chocolate shavings, or chopped nuts if desired.
