Creamy Chicken Alfredo Tater Tot Casserole

This creamy, cheesy Chicken Alfredo Tater Tot Casserole is the ultimate comfort food—loaded with tender chicken, savory Alfredo sauce, and crispy golden tater tots, topped with bubbling mozzarella and bacon bits.

Ingredients
  

Casserole Base:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded or diced
  • 1 jar 15 oz Alfredo sauce
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Topping:

  • 1 package 32 oz frozen tater tots
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup cooked bacon bits
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat to 375°F and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Whisk Alfredo sauce, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until smooth.
  • Stir in cooked, shredded or diced chicken. Add bacon bits now if using them in the mix.
  • Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the prepared dish.
  • Top with a single layer of tater tots. Sprinkle mozzarella, Parmesan, and any reserved bacon on top.
  • Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes, until tots are golden and cheese is bubbly.
  • Garnish with parsley. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
