Creamy Cheddar BBQ Ranch Chicken Alfredo
A rich and creamy Alfredo pasta infused with cheddar cheese, smoky BBQ sauce, and tangy ranch dressing, topped with tender shredded chicken. This easy, flavorful dish is a perfect balance of comfort and bold flavors, ideal for any occasion.
- 2 chicken breasts
- 8 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
- ½ cup BBQ sauce
- ½ cup ranch dressing
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- Salt and pepper
- Fresh parsley
Cook the Pasta: Boil salted water and cook pasta until al dente. Drain, reserving ½ cup of pasta water.
Make the Sauce Base: In a skillet over medium heat, sauté garlic in olive oil for 30 seconds. Add heavy cream and whisk until smooth. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
Melt the Cheese & Add Sauces: Reduce heat and stir in shredded cheddar until melted. Mix in BBQ sauce and ranch dressing. Thin with reserved pasta water if needed.
Add the Chicken: Stir in shredded chicken, coating it in the sauce. Simmer for 2 minutes and season with salt and pepper.
Combine & Heat Through: Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet, mixing until fully coated. Cook for 1–2 minutes, adding pasta water if needed. Plate immediately, garnish with fresh parsley
