Cream Cheese Bacon Chicken Pasta
Creamy bacon chicken pasta with tender chicken, crispy bacon, and rich cream cheese sauce—easy to make, family-approved, and perfect for busy nights.
- 1 lb pasta penne or fusilli
- 1 lb chicken thighs diced
- 4 oz cream cheese softened
- 6 slices bacon chopped
- 1 small onion diced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- ½ cup milk
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ¼ cup fresh parsley chopped (optional garnish)
Cook chopped bacon in a skillet until crispy, then set aside. Leave 1 tbsp grease, add oil and onion, and sauté until soft. Stir in garlic for 30 seconds.
Add diced chicken, season, and cook until golden and fully cooked.
Lower heat. Add cream cheese, broth, and milk. Stir until smooth. Return bacon and mix.
Toss in cooked pasta, stirring to coat. Add pasta water if needed.
Adjust seasoning. Garnish with parsley if desired. Serve hot.
