Cream Cheese And Smoky Stuffed Doritos
Crunchy Doritos stuffed with a smoky cream-cheese blend, coated in panko breadcrumbs, then fried or baked until golden, melty, and irresistible.
Filling
- 1 cup cream cheese softened
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ tsp smoked paprika
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper optional
- ¼ cup crispy turkey bits or smoked tofu crumbles
- 1 tbsp chopped green onions
Coating & Assembly
- 1 bag Nacho Cheese or Spicy Sweet Chili Doritos
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg beaten
- ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
- ¼ tsp salt
- Cooking oil for frying or baking
Mix cream cheese, cheddar, mozzarella, spices, turkey (or tofu), and green onions.
Refrigerate filling for 10+ minutes.
Sandwich filling between two whole chips, pressing gently.
Set up bowls for flour + salt, beaten egg, and panko.
Dip stuffed Doritos in flour, egg, then panko.
Cook: Fry: Pan-fry in ½-inch oil, 1–2 mins per side.Bake: Bake at 375°F for 10–12 mins, flipping halfway. Drain if fried. Serve warm with dip or extra green onions.
