Cottage Cheese Roast Beef Hoagie Boats

A warm, savory hoagie filled with creamy cottage cheese, tender roast beef, and melted cheese, baked until golden and crisp.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 1 cup cottage cheese blended smooth
  • 1 ½ cups sliced roast beef
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
  • ½ cup sautéed onions or peppers optional
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Slice hoagie rolls lengthwise and hollow out the center for filling.
  • Mix blended cottage cheese with garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Layer roast beef in each roll and spoon the cottage cheese mixture on top.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese and optional vegetables evenly over each hoagie.
  • Bake 12 to 15 minutes until cheese melts and bread edges turn golden and crisp.
  • Let cool a few minutes before serving so the filling settles.
