Cottage Cheese Roast Beef Hoagie Boats
A warm, savory hoagie filled with creamy cottage cheese, tender roast beef, and melted cheese, baked until golden and crisp.
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 1 cup cottage cheese blended smooth
- 1 ½ cups sliced roast beef
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
- ½ cup sautéed onions or peppers optional
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Slice hoagie rolls lengthwise and hollow out the center for filling.
Mix blended cottage cheese with garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Layer roast beef in each roll and spoon the cottage cheese mixture on top.
Sprinkle shredded cheese and optional vegetables evenly over each hoagie.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes until cheese melts and bread edges turn golden and crisp.
Let cool a few minutes before serving so the filling settles.
