Cottage Cheese Garlic Butter Crescent Twists are soft, cheesy, oven baked twists infused with garlic and herbs, offering a lighter, protein rich alternative to traditional buttery breads.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup almond flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Mix cottage cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, almond flour, garlic, and seasonings until a thick, slightly sticky dough forms.
  • Transfer dough to the sheet and flatten into a rectangle about ½ inch thick.
  • Cut into strips and gently twist each into shape, spacing slightly apart.
  • Bake 18 to 22 minutes until golden at the edges and lightly crisp on top.
  • Brush with melted garlic butter and parsley after baking if desired.
  • Let cool 5 to 10 minutes, then serve warm.
