Copycat Pillsbury Cinnamon Roll Icing
This Copycat Pillsbury Cinnamon Roll Icing is a creamy, rich frosting made with butter, vanilla, and heavy cream. It’s perfect for topping your homemade or store-bought cinnamon rolls and takes just minutes to prepare.
- ½ cup unsalted butter room temperature
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp fine salt
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- ¼ cup heavy cream room temperature
Beat room temperature butter in a mixing bowl for 2-3 minutes until smooth and pale.
Mix in vanilla extract and salt until creamy and well combined.
Gradually stir in powdered sugar, ½ cup at a time, making sure it's fully incorporated before adding more.
Add heavy cream and beat until the icing is smooth and creamy. Add more cream if needed to adjust the consistency.
Spread or pour the icing over warm cinnamon rolls, allowing it to melt slightly and coat the rolls.
