Prepare the cabbage by washing and chopping it into bite-sized pieces. Dice the onions and finely chop the celery.
In a large saucepan, fill halfway with water and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Add the cabbage, onions, celery, and stewed tomatoes, then reduce heat to low to let vegetables simmer.
In a separate pan, cook the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat once the meat is fully browned.
Add the Onion Soup Mix to the simmering vegetables, stirring well. Season with salt, pepper, and additional spices as desired.
Add the cooked ground beef to the soup pot and mix thoroughly to distribute evenly with the vegetables.
Let the soup cook for an additional 5–10 minutes, allowing flavors to meld. Taste and adjust seasoning, then simmer for another 2–3 minutes before serving.
