Cinnamon-Sugar Air Fryer Banana Chips
Cinnamon-Sugar Air Fryer Banana Chips are sweet, crunchy, and lightly spiced, offering a healthier, homemade alternative to store-bought snacks—ready in under 15 minutes with just a few simple ingredients.
- 2-3 ripe but firm bananas
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Cooking spray (neutral-flavored)
Peel and cut bananas into thin, even rounds—about ⅛ inch thick. Thinner slices make crispier chips, but avoid slicing too thin or they’ll fall apart.
In a small bowl, combine cinnamon and sugar. Set aside.
Lightly spritz banana rounds with lemon juice to prevent browning. Toss each slice in the cinnamon-sugar mix until fully coated.
Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Place slices in a single layer in the basket or on parchment if needed. Don’t overlap.
Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway. Watch closely after 6 minutes—edges should be golden and slightly curled.
Transfer chips to a rack or plate. Let cool completely to crisp up before serving or storing.
