Cinnamon Muffins With Streusel Topping

Cinnamon Muffins with Streusel Topping are tender, warm-spiced muffins crowned with a buttery cinnamon crumble, perfect for breakfast, snacks, or slow weekend mornings.

Ingredients
  

  • cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the streusel topping

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ cup cold unsalted butter cubed

Instructions
 

  • Preheat to 375°F, line a muffin pan, mix dry ingredients, whisk wet ingredients separately, combine gently, and fill cups three-quarters full.
  • Mix flour, sugars, and cinnamon, cut in cold butter until crumbly, and press streusel lightly onto each muffin.
  • Bake 16 to 20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean, cool briefly, then transfer to a rack and serve warm.
