Church Lady Butter Toffee Pretzels
Church Lady Butter Toffee Pretzels are crunchy, buttery pretzel clusters coated in a rich toffee glaze, perfect for snacking, gifting, or adding a nostalgic touch to any dessert table.
Butter Toffee Coating
- 1 cup 2 sticks unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar light or dark
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp baking soda
Pretzels
- 8 cups mini pretzels twists or sticks
Optional Add-Ins
- ½ cup chopped pecans or almonds
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 –2 tbsp white chocolate drizzle
- Sea salt flakes for sprinkling
Preheat oven to 200°F (93°C) and line a baking sheet. Spread pretzels evenly.
Melt butter with brown sugar, boil 3 minutes, then stir in vanilla and baking soda.
Pour toffee over pretzels and toss to coat.
Bake 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
Cool completely, break into clusters, and serve.
