Christmas Cranberry Walnut Cheese Balls
Christmas Cranberry Walnut Cheese Balls are creamy, tangy, and festive, studded with dried cranberries and crunchy walnuts. Perfect for holiday parties or cozy winter gatherings.
- 8 oz ≈ 225 g cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup ≈ 115 g sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- ½ cup ≈ 60 g chopped walnuts
- ⅓ cup ≈ 30‑40 g dried cranberries, chopped
- 2 Tbsp ≈ 30 mL chopped fresh parsley
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Toast walnuts in a dry skillet until golden, then cool.
Mix cream cheese, cheddar, half the cranberries, walnuts, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Cover and chill 2 hours or overnight.
Scoop and shape into balls, rolling in remaining cranberries and walnuts.
Arrange on a platter, garnish with parsley, and serve with crackers or bread.
