Chili Cheese Dog Casserole

Chili Cheese Dog Casserole turns a classic favorite into a cheesy, baked delight. Flaky crescent rolls, savory chili, juicy hot dogs, and melty cheddar make it an easy, crowd-pleasing dish.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 hot dogs
  • 1 can chili
  • 1 tube crescent rolls
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup diced onions
  • ¼ cup diced green peppers

Instructions
 

  • Set it to 375°F (190°C) for even baking.
  • Lightly coat a 9×13-inch dish with cooking spray or oil.
  • In a bowl, combine sliced hot dogs, chili, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. If using onions or green peppers, sauté them first.
  • Unroll crescent dough and press it evenly into the dish.
  • Spread it evenly over the crescent roll base.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar generously on top.
  • Cook for 25-30 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly. Let it sit for 5 minutes and then slice.
