Chicken Stuffing Casserole
Chicken Stuffing Casserole is a comforting baked dish featuring tender chicken, creamy sauce, vegetables, and a golden herb stuffing topping.
- 6 oz boxed stuffing mix or 3 to 4 cups homemade stuffing
- 1 ¼ cup hot water
- 2 cups cooked chicken diced
- ⅓ cup sour cream
- 10.5 oz condensed cream of chicken soup
- 3 cups frozen mixed vegetables defrosted
Preheat oven to 400°F and lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish
Mix stuffing with hot water and let sit 5 minutes until soft and fluffy
Combine chicken, sour cream, soup, and vegetables until evenly creamy
Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the baking dish
Top with stuffing, spreading gently without pressing
Bake 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top
Let rest 5 minutes before serving so it sets nicely
