Chicken Lettuce Wraps With Thai Chili Sauce are a light, flavorful meal made with seasoned ground chicken, fresh vegetables, and a sweet spicy sauce, served in crisp lettuce cups for an easy and satisfying dinner.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 tsp fresh grated ginger
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1 red bell pepper finely diced
  • 2 green onions sliced

Sauce

  • 3 tbsp Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • ½ tsp sesame oil optional

To Serve

  • Butter lettuce or romaine leaves
  • Extra chili sauce
  • Lime wedges

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook onion, garlic, and ginger for 2 to 3 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add ground chicken and cook for 5 to 6 minutes, breaking it up, until fully cooked and lightly browned.
  • Stir in diced red bell pepper and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until slightly softened.
  • Add sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil, then simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until the sauce coats the chicken.
  • Stir in green onions, taste, adjust seasoning, and remove from heat.
  • Spoon filling into lettuce leaves, drizzle with extra sauce, add lime, and serve.
