Chicken Bacon Ranch Tater Tot Casserole

A cozy, crowd-pleasing casserole loaded with shredded chicken, crispy bacon, creamy ranch flavor, and topped with a golden layer of tater tots—baked until bubbly and irresistibly crispy.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup cream cheese softened
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 bag 32 oz frozen tater tots
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Heat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Mix shredded chicken, cream cheese, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder in a large bowl until smooth.
  • Stir in sour cream until fully combined and creamy.
  • Spread the chicken mixture in the dish, top with shredded cheddar, then sprinkle crumbled bacon.
  • Layer frozen tater tots evenly over the top.
  • Bake for 30–35 minutes, until tots are golden and cheese is bubbly.
  • Let it rest a few minutes, then top with chopped green onions and serve warm.
