Cherry Bourbon Balls
Cherry Bourbon Balls a festive no-bake treat featuring bourbon-soaked pecans, sweet cherries, and buttery filling dipped in smooth chocolate.
- 1 cup raw pecans
- ½ cup bourbon
- 1 cup chopped maraschino cherries
- ½ cup salted butter softened
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon shortening or coconut oil
- Candied cherry halves for topping
Soak pecans in bourbon for 1–12 hours until saturated but not mushy.
Beat powdered sugar and butter until crumbly.
Stir in chopped cherries and the bourbon-pecan mixture; knead if too stiff.
Roll into 1-inch balls and chill 1 hour.
Melt chocolate chips with shortening until smooth.
Dip each ball, shaking off excess, and top with a cherry half.
Chill 20 minutes until the chocolate sets.
