Cheesy Mozzarella Bites are crispy, golden cheese balls loaded with mozzarella, Parmesan, and Italian spices—perfect with warm marinara for a cozy snack.
Cheese Mixture
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg beaten
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Coating and Garnish
- ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped (optional)
- Marinara sauce for dipping
Preheat to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment or grease lightly.
Mix mozzarella, Parmesan, flour, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl until a sticky dough forms.
Form into 1-inch balls (12–16 total). Chill or flour hands if too sticky.
Roll each ball in panko, pressing gently for even coating.
Place on baking sheet and bake 12–15 minutes until golden and crisp.
Cool slightly, garnish with parsley, and serve warm with marinara.
