Combine the flour, sugar, milk powder, yeast, salt, milk, and egg in the bowl of your stand mixer.
Knead on low speed for 10 minutes. Gradually add the butter one cube at a time.
Continue kneading for an additional 10-20 minutes until the dough passes the window-pane test.
Proof for 60-90 minutes until doubled in size.
Divide the dough into 20 equal pieces.
Flatten each ball and place a cube of cheese in the center. Wrap the dough around the cheese and seal.
Arrange the dough balls seam-side down in a 12-inch (30 cm) baking pan. Cover and proof for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
Brush the bread bites with egg wash. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Melt the butter with minced garlic in a pot.
Simmer for 1 minute, add parsley and salt to taste, and remove from heat.
Brush the garlic butter over the bread bites immediately after they come out of the oven. Enjoy while warm!
