Cheesy Broccoli Rice Casserole

A rich and creamy casserole packed with fluffy rice, tender broccoli, and melted cheddar cheese. Perfect as a side dish or a satisfying main meal, this recipe is easy to prepare and always a family favorite.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cooked chicken breast
  • 10.5 oz condensed cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) for even baking.
  • Mix the casserole base: In a large bowl, combine cooked rice, steamed broccoli, 1 ½ cups cheddar cheese, shredded chicken (if using), cream of chicken soup, and milk. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Assemble in the baking dish: Lightly grease a 9×13-inch dish and spread the mixture evenly.
  • Add cheese topping: Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of cheddar cheese over the top.
  • Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
