Cheesy Beef Burrito Casserole
Beef Burrito Casserole is a layered, oven baked dish made with seasoned ground beef, tortillas, creamy sauce, and melted cheese, creating a hearty and satisfying meal perfect for family dinners.
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup onion chopped
- 1 ounce taco seasoning
- 16 ounces refried beans
- 10.5 ounces condensed cream of chicken soup
- ¾ cup sour cream
- 10 large flour tortillas cut in half
- 2 cups mild cheddar cheese shredded
- 1 cup pepper jack cheese shredded
- ¼ cup cilantro chopped
- 1 lime
Cook beef and onion 7 to 10 minutes until browned, drain fat.
Stir in beans, seasoning, lime juice, cilantro, mix well.
Mix soup and sour cream until smooth.
Grease baking dish, spread thin sauce layer.
Add tortillas, beef mixture, then cheese.
Repeat layers, finish with cheese on top.
Bake at 350°F or 175°C for 20 to 30 minutes until bubbly.
Rest 5 to 10 minutes, then serve.
