Cheesy Baked Tortellini Casserole (W/ Meat Sauce)
If you’re looking for a comforting, hearty meal that combines the rich flavors of cheese and meat with tender pasta, this recipe is a perfect choice.
- 1 container cheese tortellini (refrigerated or frozen) 20 oz
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 jar pasta sauce 24 oz
- 8 oz cream cheese cubed
- 1-2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt, garlic powder, pepper, Italian seasoning to taste
Cook the tortellini according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Season with salt, garlic powder, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Drain excess grease.
Stir in the pasta sauce and cubed cream cheese, letting the sauce simmer until the cream cheese melts fully and the sauce is creamy.
Gently toss the cooked tortellini with the meat sauce, ensuring all pasta is well coated. Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top. Bake for 20 minutes, then broil for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
