Cheesy Baked Tortellini Casserole (W/ Meat Sauce)

If you’re looking for a comforting, hearty meal that combines the rich flavors of cheese and meat with tender pasta, this recipe is a perfect choice.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 container cheese tortellini (refrigerated or frozen) 20 oz
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 jar pasta sauce 24 oz
  • 8 oz cream cheese cubed
  • 1-2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt, garlic powder, pepper, Italian seasoning to taste

Instructions
 

  • Cook the tortellini according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Season with salt, garlic powder, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Drain excess grease.
  • Stir in the pasta sauce and cubed cream cheese, letting the sauce simmer until the cream cheese melts fully and the sauce is creamy.
  • Gently toss the cooked tortellini with the meat sauce, ensuring all pasta is well coated. Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top. Bake for 20 minutes, then broil for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
