Buttery Oatmeal Cranberry Cookies

Chewy, buttery oatmeal cookies studded with tart cranberries and a hint of cinnamon. Perfect for family gatherings, after-school snacks, or a cozy evening treat.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • ½ cup chopped nuts optional

Instructions
 

  • Heat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment.
  • Beat butter, brown sugar, and sugar until fluffy.
  • Mix in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.
  • Whisk flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  • Stir dry mixture into butter mixture until just combined.
  • Fold in oats, cranberries, and nuts if desired.
  • Scoop tablespoons of dough 2 inches apart. Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are golden.
  • Cool 5 minutes on the sheet, then move to racks.
